DHAKA: Indian Secretary of Ministry of External Affairs (Multilateral and Economic Relations) Sujata Mehta will visit Bangladesh from April 5-7 to discuss the ongoing India-Bangladesh development partnership and economic cooperation.
She will be accompanied by Alok Kumar Sinha, (Development Partnership Administration) and Sripriya Ranganathan, Joint Secretary (Bangladesh and Myanmar).
The secretary will also review the ways to strengthen and deepen the bilateral relation between Bangladesh and India.
During her visit, Mehta is expected to call on different Ministers and hold discussions with Senior Secretary Mohammed Mejbahuddin of Economic Relations Division under Ministry of Finance.
Mehta is the senior most official dealing with multilateral and development cooperation issues in India’s External Affairs Ministry.
