DHAKA: Multi-level marketing company Destiny Group filed a case accusing thee people for looting of Tk 6 crore valuables from its headquarters in the city.
Destiny’s chief auditor Mahabubur Rahman filed the case with Dhaka’s Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court on Tuesday (March 10) morning.
Golam Hossin, owner of Nasir Trade Center, Belayet Hossain, owner of Botanic Aroma Limited, and Fakhruddin Ahmed, chief executive officer of Vivek Security and Services Limited, were made accused in the case.
Taking the case into cognizance, Metropolitan Magistrate Hasibul Haque, after hearing, asked city’s Kalabang Thana police to investigate into the case.
According to the case statement, Destiny Group was established with 35 different companies. Its headquarters is located on the 6, 7, 8, 11, and 13 levels of Nasir Trade Centre in the city’s Kalabagan area.

On 23 August and November 21, the accused allegedly stormed into the headquarters and looted valuables worth about Tk 50 crore. Following the incident, a case was filed with Kalabagan Thana against them.
Later they got bail in the case and looted valuables worth about Tk 6 crore from headquarters again, added the statement.
