DHAKA: Visiting Chief of Army of Nepal General Gaurav Shumsher JB Rana paid a courtesy call on the chiefs of three services Tuesday.

He met Army chief General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan at army headquarters, Air Force chief Air Marshal Enamul Bari at air force headquarters and Navy chief Vice Admiral M Farid Habib at navy headquarters at Banani in city and exchanged greetings with them.

Earlier, he placed wreath at ‘Shikha Anirban’ - the Eternal Flame - at the Dhaka Cantonment to pay homage to the memory of the members of Armed Forces martyred during the War of Liberation in 1971.

General Gaurav Shumsher JB Rana arrived in Dhaka on Monday on a 4-day official visit.

He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday.
