Rickshaw-van puller killed in city road crash

DHAKA: A rickshaw-van puller was killed in a road accident in city’s Sabujbagh area on Saturday night.

The identity of the youth aged around 25, could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said that a rashly driven passenger bus knocked him down while he was pulling his van in the area around 6:00pm, leaving him critically injured.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where on duty doctor declared him dead around 7:30pm.

DMCH police outpost In-Charge Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
