ASHULIA, DHAKA: Three persons received severe burn injuries in a gas cylinder blast at a jewelry shop at Nishchintopur of Ashulia on Thursday night.

The injured are identified as shop owner Bhola Das, his staff Bhim and Nokul.

Of the victims, Bhola Das, told banglanews that the explosion took place around 9:30pm when he tried to ignite the gas stove in the shop, leaving them severely burnt.

However, the injured were stormed to Enam Medical College and Hospital by the locals.
