DHAKA: Two people were killed and two others injured as a passenger bus knocked a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Nandigram upazila of the district Friday morning.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Faizur Raman, Officer-in-Charge of Nandigram Thana, told banglanews that a Natore-bound passenger bus knocked a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Koigari intersection around 10:15am, leaving two dead on the spot and two others injured.

The injured were admitted to a local hospital and the bodies were taken to Nandigram Thana, he added.
