FENI: Miscreants exploded five cocktail bombs targeting the resident house of the district superintendent of police (SP) at the Circuit House of the town early Friday.

The explosion took place around 1:45am. No detention and causality, however, was reported.

District additional SP Saiful Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.

In the meantime, two policemen were injured when saboteurs hurled three cocktails targeting lawmen in front of Nasir Memorial College in the district town at the same time.

The injured were admitted at the district Modern Hospital.

Police detained a youth in this connection.
