COX’S BAZAR: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend a flag hoisting program of the 10th infantry of Bangladesh Army in Ramu upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Sunday (March 1).

She is scheduled to reach Ramu by helicopter at 11:00am on the day and attend the program as chief guest.

The PM is set to inaugurate a division, 2 infantry divisions, a brigade, an artillery unit and a full-fledged cantonment in the area.

A statement signed by PM’s assistant secretary Mohammad Jahangir Alam confirmed the matter on Thursday.

However, the construction works of the cantonment in Rajarkul union of the upazila, covering 1,787-acrre, is going on in full-swing.
