MYMENSINGH: A student of Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) died Monday evening after falling off the roof of her residence.

The deceased was identified as Nawrin, 21, a third year student of dental department and daughter of former deputy director of Planning Division Dr M Nurul Islam.

MMCH Principal Matiur Rahman told banglanews that Nawrin fell off the fifth floor of an under construction building at Natun Bazar area of the town in the evening.

She succumbed to her injuries on the way to hospital, he added.

Officer-in-Charge of Kotowali Model Thana Fazlul Karim confirmed the matter to banglanews.
