DHAKA: Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Thursday said the government would cancel license if cable operators air any movie without taking permission.

Besides, legal action will also be taken against video piracy, he said.

The decision came form a meeting of anti-piracy committee at secretariat in city on Thursday.

After the meeting, information minister told the media that license of cable operators would be cancelled if they air movie without taking permission from the proper authority.

Moreover, a mobile court will be active to take legal action against movie airing without taking permission and stop video piracy.
