HILI (DINAJPUR): India’s Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday returned three Bangladesh nationals, who were detained in accusation of illegal entrance to India.
They handed over the detainees, Jobaer Hossain (19), Ratan Sandail (18) and Babul Sandail (18), to the members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) at Hili border check-post gate at 3:00pm on the day.
Earlier, a company commander level flag meeting was held between the two organizations.
BGB Hili CP Camp commander Subedar Abdul Mannan led the Bangladesh team while Hili BSF camp commander Parvez Singh led the Indian group.
Soldiers of the two security organizations were also present at the meeting.
Abdul Mannan said that BSF on Saturday held the youths from Indian part of Hili Bazar in accusation of illegal entrance to India. On Sunday, they (BSF) handed over them to the BGB.
Later, following the process, we handed over the youths to Hakimpur Thana, the BGB subedar added.
