DHAKA: Miscreants shot a man to death at a hotel in Dainik Bangla intersection area of the city on Thursday evening.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Hamid, 48, hailed from Chittagong district.

Sources said two anonymous miscreants were looking for Abdul Hamid at the hotel in the evening. At one stage, they shot him on his head while he appeared before them.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
