Railway gets new DG

DHAKA: The government has appointed Amzad Hossain as new director general (DG) of Bangladesh Railway Department.

The railway ministry issued a gazette notification to this effect on Wednesday afternoon.

Former additional director general Amzad Hossain replaced M Tafazzal Hossain following his retirement on December 31.
