Police rescue 4 girls from Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ: Police held a female trafficker and rescued four teenaged girls from Chhitkibari village in Rajoir upazila early Wednesday.  

Police said acting on a tip-off, a patrol team of police raided the house of one Promoth Biswas at early hours Wednesday and rescued the girls and the trafficker, identified as Lima Bol, wife of Pankaj Bal of Krishnapur.

The rescued are Sweety Bol, 13, daughter of Nidhan Chandra Bol, Swarnali Bol, 12, daughter of Bakul Bol, Shibani Bol, 12, daughter of Gaur Bol and Dulali Bol, daughter of Vasha Ram Bol of Krishanpur.

A case was filed with Sadar Thana.
