DHAKA: A youth was killed by the members of Agyan Party, who dope people before snatching their valuables, in Golapbagh area of the capital on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Shohag, 22, son of Siddiqur Rahman. He was a student of class-XII at a college in Comilla district.

Elder brother of the deceased Nahid Hasan said Shohag was going to his house at Uttara in the morning. The members of the Agyan Party swindled Shohag, leaving him injured critically in the area.

However, locals rushed him to a local hospital and later he was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 2:00pm.

Jatrabari Thana Sub-Inspector Mahbub Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
