Youth injured by BSF dies

RAJSHAHI: A youth, who was hurt in torturing of Indian Border Security Guard (BSF), succumbed to his injuries at Rajshahi Medical Collage Hospital on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Khalek, 28, a cattle trader, son of Abdul Hakim, hailed from Krishnasada village of Sapahar upazila of Natore.

Victim’s father said BSF took away his son from Sharsha border in Jessore on Friday night, beat and chopped him with sharpen weapons, leaving him critically injured.

Local rushed him to hospital where he died at night.
