CHITTAGONG: At least nine people were received bullet wound in a clash over establishing supremacy in Chittagong on Tuesday.

They were rushed to local hospital and Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

Locals said the clash the gun fight began at noon in Mohammadkhali village under Khagria union of Satkania upazila.

They said that the clash began at noon to establish supremacy at Mohammadkhali village under Khagria union of Satkania upazila village when Khorshed Alam group attacked their opponent Jamal Uddin gang.

They locked in clash and at least nine people were wounded, including Jamal Uddin.

The bullet wounded are Jafar Ahmed, 55, M Ismail, 35, M Belal, 40, Osman, 40, Jamal Uddin, 45, Abul Kashem, 42, Mainuddin, 28, Lokman, 30 and Badiul Alam Vetta, 35.

The wounded were rushed to Dohajari Upazila Health Complex. Fatally injured Vetta was shifted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

Satkania Thana Sub-Inspector Shafiqul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
