DHAKA: The biggest mosque of the country is going to be established in Bashundhara residential area in Baridhara in the city.

Sayem Sobhan Anvir, the Managing Director of Bashundhara Group, country’s leading business conglomerate, laid the foundation stone of the mosque on Friday morning.

This would be the biggest and most aesthetic mosque on a space of 1,25,000 square feet in the country where more than one lac devotees can perform Namaj together.

The holiest Muslim community of the area will be benefited and make their spiritual visits to rectify their religious views. The grand mosque (Masjid) will be situated at the ‘N’ block of Bashundhara residential area.

Moreover, Senior Deputy Managing Director (DMD) M Belayet Hossain, DMD Tauhidul Islam, DMD Mostafijur Rahman, DMD (Engineer) Abul Kalam Shamim, Executive Director Imrul Hasan, Senior General Manager (Engineer) Najmul Alam Bhuiyan, Senior general Manager Najmul Haque, Executive Director of Administration and Human Resource Captain (retd) Sheikh Ehsan Reza, Executive Director Shahid Hasan Leen and others were also present in the Foundation Inauguration Ceremony.
