Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today said social business holds the power to transform not only Bangladesh but the entire world, especially in ensuring universal healthcare.
Speaking at the inauguration of the two-day Social Business Day at the Samajik Convention Centre in Zirabo, Savar, he said that social business is the most effective way to address global healthcare challenges.
This year’s theme is “Social Business is the Most Effective Way to Ensure Healthcare for All.” Over 1,400 participants from 38 countries are attending the 15th edition of the event, jointly organized by the Yunus Centre and Grameen Group.
Advisers to the interim government, diplomats, and senior officials were also present.
The programme includes five plenary sessions and eight breakout sessions featuring global experts, including Omar Ishrak, Dr Ismail Serageldin, Erik Solheim, and Professor Md. Saidur Rahman.
