A Dhaka court today placed five individuals on a three-day remand each in a robbery preparation case filed with Mirpur Model Police Station.

Metropolitan Magistrate Sarah Farzana Haque passed the remand after police sought five days for interrogation.

The accused—Julhash (37), Md Kamal Hawlader (40), Md Tushar Ahmed (34), Sabuj Miah (35), and Samrat Mollah (35)—were arrested by the Detective Branch (DB) near Mirpur’s Sony Cinema Hall on Saturday. 

Police seized a car, two sharp weapons, and two toy pistols from their possession.
