GAZIPUR: Police in a nightlong drive held 10 suspected dacoits with locally made weapons from Bhogra area of the district early Friday.
Confirming the matter, Joydebpur Thana Hotapara police outpost Sub-Inspector Harun-or-Rashid told banglanews, “Police detained the dacoits while taking preparation in Pubail area in the capital.”
Meanwhile, locally made lethal weapons including choppers, knives were seized from their possession, he added.
