Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus will address a distinguished audience at Soka University this afternoon, as part of his four-day visit to Japan.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to social innovation and global development, the university will confer an Honorary Doctorate Degree on Yunus during the event.

Wrapping up his Japan tour, Yunus will depart Tokyo for Singapore tomorrow morning and is expected to return to Dhaka late at night.

He arrived in Tokyo on May 27 for a series of engagements focused on education, development, and human resources.
