DHAKA: Law enforcers freed five people, including one of the top models and actor of small screen Pallab, after detention as they were not involved in keeping illegal arms.

Meanwhile, Rampura Thana police showed the rest six accused as arrested in an arms case.

Earlier in the day, police held 11 people, including model Pallab, form Rampura area of the city and recovered three foreign firearms, two lethal weapons and 14 rounds of bullets from their possession.

Motijheel Division Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman told banglanews that the detained were quizzed at the thana and found five of them including Pallab innocent.
