Journo Kiran Saha passes away

DHAKA: Kiran Kumar Saha Kochi, the Jessore bureau chief of daily Jugantor, also former president of Jessore Union of Journalists (JUJ), died of a heart attack on Saturday night.

He was 60.

He left behind wife, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers.

Jugantar journalist Mohiuddin Sarker said, "He felt unwell around 8:00pm while working at his office and rushed to Jessore 250-bed Hospital, where he breathed his last around 9.50pm."

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock at the death of Kiran and prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
