A Rohingya youth was shot dead by some miscreants at Ukhiya camp of Cox's Bazar on Monday (June 5).
The deceased Bashir Ahmed, 19, was son of Rahmat Ullah, hailed from 6 number camps block A/8.
Ukhiya police station officer-in-charge Sheikh Mohammad Ali confirmed the matter.
He said the miscreants attacked Bashir relating to dominance. At that time, he died on the spot.
Police recovered the body and sent to Sadar Hospital of Cox's Bazar morgue for autopsy, he added.
