Prisoner dies in Dhaka Central Jail

A prisoner named Atiqur Rahman, 42, died in Dhaka Central Jail (Keraniganj).

However, on Sunday (May 28) around 5 in the morning, he was taken unconscious to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Dhaka Medical Police Camp Incharge (Inspector) Md. Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter.
