Rain or thundershowers in different parts of the country likely to occur at many places across the country, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours commencing 9am today (May 27). 

According to the Met office bulletin, rain or thunder accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded by 35.6 degrees Celsius at Dhaka while the minimum temperature today was recorded by 21.0 degrees Celsius was recorded at Bogura. 

Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded by 18mm at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 06.40pm today and rises at 05.12am tomorrow in the capital.
