Shuvo Sangha, a social organisation of Bashundhara Group's Bengali daily Kaler Kantho, reached out to cold-battered destitute on behalf of the biggest corporate house.
The recipients of the warm clothes included the newspaper hawkers of the district.
Expressing satisfaction with the warm clothes, they called upon other corporate bodies and affluent people to stand by the poor.
