Bangladesh reports highest ever 231 deaths in 24-hr

Bangladesh on Monday (July 19) reported the highest ever 231 coronavirus-related deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the deaths toll from the pandemic to 18,125. 

Earlier, the highest single-day deaths record was 230 on July 11.

Besides, 13,321 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 11,17,310.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 in last year while first death on March 18 in that year.
