K-pop contest held in Bangladesh

DHAKA: K-pop Contest 2015 was held first time in Bangladesh organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea on Saturday.

Anika Saiara Ali won the contest by his wonderful dance with the song Girl’s Generation.

Second Winners are two siblings Yeo Farin and Yeo Farah who danced with the song Crazy.

Ayub Ali Tanvir became third Winner for his vocal performance with guitar.

Fourth Winners were Manik, Pangkaj and Waliullah. They danced with the song PSY-Gentle man.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Lee Yun-young hosted the event and handed over the first prize to Anika.

The President of Korean Community in Bangladesh Yoon-Hee handed over the 2nd prize and KOICA’s Resident representative Kim ji-Hoon gave the third prize.

A total of 13 team participated in the said event where the Embassy gave Samsung smart phones to the first three winners and special prizes to everyone.
