DHAKA: Commercial exploration and supply of gas from well-20 of Titas Gas began on Wednesday.

Primarily, the gas field started supplying 10 million cubic feet per day (MMCFD) of natural gas to the national grid.

Petrobangla Chairman Hossain Mansur confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He also hoped that 18-mln cubic feet of gas would be explored per day gradually which will ease the country`s gas crisis.
