Ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) started the sale of essential commodities at subsidised rates among the low-income group today (February 15).

A total of one crore TCB cardholders across the country will be able to buy soybean oil, lentil and rice at lower rates, said a media statement issued by the organisation on Wednesday.

The TCB will sell soybean oil at Tk100 per liter, lentils at Tk60 per kg, and rice at Tk30 per kg among its cardholders.
