DHAKA: Bangladesh Chemical Society is going to hold the first round of the 6th Bangladesh Chemical Olympiad on Friday.

Professor M Abu Bin Hasan Susan of the Department of Chemistry of the University of Dhaka and also the Convener of the program confirmed the matter to banglanews on Wednesday.

He said Bangladesh Chemical Society would hold the first round for Barisal, Rangpur and Sylhet Division on June 6, while for all other divisions will be on June 13.

Students securing top positions in the round from all divisions will take part in the final round, he added. The final round will be held in the Curzon Hall premises of Dhaka University on June 23.

Mobile Laboratory (ICCTB; Convener: Dr M Mominul Islam) and Mobile Museum (KOICA and DU; Convener: Dr Muhammad Shah Miran) will also be arranged in Dhaka in both rounds.
