DHAKA: Freedom fighter Muhammad Shafiqur Rahman has been re-elected president in the bi-annul election for Jatiya Press Club Management Committee 2017-18.

Moreover, Farida Yasmin from the same panel has been elected secretary for the first time in the club’s poll history.

The polls result was declared around 7:15pm Saturday (December 31).

A total of 1,180 voters out of 1,218 applied their franchise in the polls.
