DHAKA: Ruling Awami League Presidium Member Matia Chowdhury, also agriculture minister, on Sunday categorically said the election is a must for the democratic political practice in the country.

The Awami League leader made the observation while talking to reporters at Dhanmondi office of the party in the afternoon.

Mentioning that the dialogue will be in line with the constitution, he says, “The premier offered Khaleda for through the phone call and it is was still valid.”

While talking about the violence during hartal (shutdown), she said, “They are hurling bombs at Chief Justice Residence, ministry, lawmakers’ office, media house and it is their so called politics.”
