BANDARBAN: Police recovered dead body of an abducted Awami League leader from Uji Headman para of Bandarban sadar upazila on Saturday (May 25).

Chothowai Mong Marma was the vice-president of the municipality.

Locals said they informed police after spotting the body deep inside the jungle of farm house.

Officer-in-charge of Bandarban sadar police station confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Terrorists abducted Chothowai Mong Marma from the Bagan Bari of Uji Headman para around 10:30 pm on May 22.
