SYLHET:  A total of 63 BNP leaders and activists were sent to jail in a case filed for creating violence during the time of 11th national election.

Judge of Judicial Magistrate Court of Balaganj Farzana Begum delivered the verdict on Sunday (March 3).

The case was filed for electoral violence. The accused were granted bail for 6 weeks by the High Court prior, Abdul Ahad Khan Jamal, Organizing secretary of Sylhet district BNP told Banglanews.

The accused sought bail from the lower court, but the court rejected the plea, Abdul Ahad Khan Jamal said.
