DHAKA: BNP is set to form a human chain in front of Jatiya Press Club Wednesday (Jan 30) to protest the opening of 11th Jatiya Sangsad session.

Party joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement at a press briefing held at BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan Tuesday (Jan 29).

“This parliament goes against the people,” he said.

He also announced a rally to be held at Suhrawardy Udyan on Feb 8, demanding release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
