Party people to protect votes, says Quader Obaidul Quader talks to reporters in Noakhali

NOAKHALI: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader hoped that the leaders and activists of his party will work for protecting voting rights of the people.

“Evil forces could hatch plot. They could even steal votes,” he said.

“The security forces remain active so that any evil force cannot materialize ill attempts” 

Quader, also the minister for road transport & bridges, was talking to the reporters after casting his vote at Basurhat Udoyon Pre Cadet Academy in Companiganj of Noakhali around 8:45am Sunday (Dec 30).

“Police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) and even the Army are on the field. Besides, our party leaders and activists will protect votes,” he added.

Quader is contesting the 11th parliamentary elections from Noakhali-5.
