CHATTOGRAM: A person was killed in a clash between two rival groups at Boroitoli in Banshkhali upazila Sunday dawn hours before voting begins in the 11th national election.

The deceased was identified as Ahmad Kabir. 

Chattogram Additional Police Super (South) Afruzul Haque Tutul told Banglanews that a man, whose political identity could not be known, was shot to death in a clash between two groups. The body has been recovered.

Of the 1, 302 poling centers, largest number poling centers of Chattagram-16 constituency has remained highly vulnerable list.  Awami League candidate Mostafizur Rahman (boat), BNP’s Zafrul Islam Chowdhury (Sheaf of Paddy) Jatiya Party’s Mahmudul Islam Chowdhury (Plough) and Independent Candidate Mohammad Jahirul Islam (Apple).
