DHAKA: A Dhaka court placed BNP Joint Secretary General Habibun Nabi Khan Sohel on a five-day remand in connection with a case filed over obstructing police work vandalizing prison van.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate AHM Toahah passed the order on Wednesday (Sep 19) after investigation officer of the case, also DB sub-Inspector, Abdul Karim produced him before the court seeking a 10-day remand.

Earlier on Tuesday eveing (Sep 18), police arrested BNP Joint Secretary General and Dhaka Metropolitan BNP (South) president Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel from Gulshan area in Dhaka.
