Failing in movement, BNP trying to create disturbance: Quader Obaidul Quader speaking to reporters

SAIDPUR:  Ruling Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader alleged that BNP is trying to create disarray ahead of coming national elections after failing in ant-government movement.

Obaidul Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, came up with the allegation at a press conference held at 10:30 am right before his flight from Saidpur Airport in Nilphamari on Sunday (September 9).

On Saturday (September 8), senior AL leaders went to the northern regions of the country by train in order to campaign for national polls, highlighting development of this current regime, as well as urging party leaders to prepare for the polls.

The minister, in response to question, said: “BNP could not stage movement for 10 years. People did not respond to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s call even when she was outside of the prison. Now, BNP leaders and activists are making efforts to create confusion in order to flee from the election.”
