New movement programmes through consultation with allies soon: Delwar

DHAKA: BNP secretary-general Khandokar Delwar Hossain said his party would continue movement in democratic way to protect the people of the country and a new programme would be thrown soon.

“Decisions for new movement will be taken through consultation with the likeminded political parties soon,” he said.

Delwar was talking to journalists when he visited three injured BNP leaders at Samarita Hospital in the city.

The BNP leaders of Kazipur thana of Sirajganj suffered the injuries as local Awami League activists allegedly attacked them on Saturday morning.

Delwar said, “The activists of Awami League are continuously attacking BNP men trying to destroy the party.”

To rescue the party from this situation and to protect the rights of the people of the country, “new programmes are coming up”.
