BAGERHAT: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League president, is scheduled to visit the district on Wednesday afternoon.
PM’s personal secretary Jahangir Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
The premier will lay foundation stone of countries largest ever modernized food go-down with a 50,000 tonnes capacity near Joymonir Ghol area at Mongla.
Party sources said Sheikh Hasina is also set to address rally at Khan Jahan Ali Degree College ground at around 3:00 pm after inaugurating 10 development projects and laying foundation stone of several 21 projects.
The premier will also address a public meeting at Mongla, and a mass rally at Rampal Sreefaltala School ground.
Bagerhat Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Shukur Ali told banglanews, “Centering Prime Minister’s visit all types of preparation has completed.”
