Envoy chairman Kutubuddin Ahmed tested Covid-19 positive

DHAKA: Founder and chairman of Envoy Group Kutubuddin Ahmed have diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19).

He was admitted to the Square Hospital on Saturday after his coronavirus test result came back positive, the Group's Managing Director Abdus Salam Murshedy told Banglanews.

He (Kutubuddin) is well now, Murshedy said.

Kutubuddin Ahmed is the chairman and founder of Sheltech and Envoy Group. These groups have garments, textiles and construction businesses.

He is the former President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and secretary general of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA).
