RANGPUR: A man allegedly strangled his pregnant woman, son and daughter to death at their home in Baharkachna area of the district on Sunday (Dec 08).

Police recovered the bodies of Ratna, her three-year-old son and one-year-old daughter from their house around 12 noon.

Ratna’s husband Abdur Razzak was arrested in this connection. 

Rangpur Metropolitan Deputy Police Commissioner (Crimes) Kazi Muttaki Ibne Minan told Banglanews that according to primary investigation, Razzak might attempt to commit suicide after strangling his wife and children death over family feud.

Razzak, who might be a drug addict, was held for quizzing, Kazi Muttaki Ibne Minan added.
