PATUAKHALI:  A Chinese worker was killed allegedly by his native colleague at Payra Thermal Power Plant in Patuakhali on Saturday night (November 16).

The victim was identified as Sang Liu Zun, 35. Police detained the alleged worker Song Xiang, 30.

The incident happened over taking noodles inside power plant. The heated argument aggravated into a fight and then resulted in killing, Monirul Islam, Officer-in-charge (OC) of Kalapara Police Station told Banglanews.

The victim’s body was sent to the Patuakhali Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, the OC added.
