Bangladeshi shot dead in South Africa

FENI: A Bangladeshi young man was shot to death by criminals in Johannesburg of South Africa on Saturday (Oct 20).
 
The deceased was identified as Nur Hossain Sumon, son of Abul Kashem of Gobindapur village in Sadar upazila of Feni. Sumon has a two-year-old daughter. 

Nurunnabi, brother of deceased Sumon, told Banglanews that Sumon had been oertawing business in South Afria for 12 year. He has five business organizations there. Recently, his two shops were robbed. Later, police arrested two robbers after filing robbery cases.

At one stage, being angered, his associates shot Sumon in front of his shop around 1am (local time), leaving him dead on the spot.

Sumon's family sought the assistance of Government and Bangladesh Embassy in South Africa to bring Suman's body to the country shortly.
