DHAKA: The investigation agency of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has released its report on 15 persons from Mymensingh on allegation of crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War.

The agency's senior officer Sanaul Haque revealed the report at a press briefing held at its Dhanmondi office Thursday (August 22).
 
A total of 15 war crimes accused were named in the case. Of them, 10 are absconding.

Gias Uddin Khan, 77, Syed Bodiur Rahman alias Bonu Mia, 70, Umed Ali, 87, Abu Siddiq, 75 and Abdul Khalek-- all members of a then razakar group, are behind the bars.
 
They have been accused of seven types of charges of looting, arson attack, abduction, detention, torture, rape, murder and massacre.

As the investigation against them launched on August 6, 2017 came to an end, the 390-page report has been made in four parts. 

Of the accused, Gias Uddin Khan is a supporter of Jamaat while Bonu Mia and Abdul Khalek are of Awami League.
