KHULNA: A 40-year-old patient has died of dengue taking death toll from the mosquito-borne viral fever to five in Khulna.

Mizanur Rahman, a greengrocer from Rupsha upazila, breathed his last at Khulna Medical College Hospital around 7am Monday (August 19), while undergoing treatment. 

KMCH Resident physician (RP) Dr Shoilendranath Biswas confirmed the death to media.

Mizanur was admitted to KMCH dengue ward on August 15.
